How Users of Journaling with Jesus: Writing to Heal from Trauma have been impactedJennifer Giordano
Jennifer used many modalities to try to heal from trauma including personal development work; Ayahuasca (15 times); and Kundalini Yoga (including becoming a Kundalini Yoga instructor. She traveled to 15 different countries seeking healing, including Indigenous healing, the Sikh religion, Buddhism, and many more.
She grew up Evangelical so Journaling with Jesus appealed to Jennifer’s spiritual nature. You will be amazed at what happened to her on the first day she began to use this masterclass, which she shares in this video.
There is some darkness which comes with some “healing modalities,” but with this process it was pure light and pure grace . . . because it had Jesus in it. Jesus is the centerpiece to this journaling project. And there’s not a more powerful force on earth than taking your pain to him.
Jennifer’s healing has been amazing!! She shared this photo (which she plans to use for her upcoming book about her healing journey) so you can see how much she has healed!
Testimonials from Pilot Group Participants
When I became friends with one of the authors of Writing to Heal, she asked a few people she knew who did some journal writing if we would be a test group for using the materials. We met in person with Anne Spry as our group moderator and moved through the process laid out in the book. The healing energy of the group was beyond anything I could have dreamed of. The way the book is laid out sets up the process of healing in a very real and understandable way. I would recommend everyone use this book, even if you do not feel you have healing to do. You will find hidden beauty and courage in what your write, even if your pain is huge. I know I am a better person for doing this process.
I really enjoyed our time together and our journey to healing. Being able to have time to break down the trauma of how and why it occurred in my life helped tremendously. The time that the group shared their intimate thoughts and experiences helped me to be able to look deep into my own soul. I like how we were able to go through the process at our own pace.
beThe Writing to Heal course piqued my interest because I had been struggling with emotions from several situations that were traumatic for me. The course helped me to face up to my emotions and gave me clarity but also revealed to me a fallacy in an expectation I had placed on the course.
I think I entered into this endeavor thinking that all the emotion and anxiety I had experienced as a result of the traumas would finally be eliminated and I would no longer have to deal with uncomfortable and sometimes overwhelming thoughts and feelings. But the course helped me to face them and started me on the road of not being under their control. The course revealed to me that I do not have to be under their control or paralyzed by them.
